Missing Pet Form

Audrey is a sweet, affectionate, fun-loving young Blue Pittie. We estimate that she is between 10 months to 1 year old. She came to us from a kill shelter in Ohio after she was hit by a car and left to die in a ditch. She had two fractured hips and multiple bumps and bruises from the accident. Through it all she has remained a trusting, loving puppy. You can read more about her accident through our website at http://www.bpcanimalrescue.com/audrey.php. We are still trying to raise money towards her Vet care, so please help out if you can. She has not needed surgery on her hips as the veterinarian feels they are healing very well on their own. However, he stated that if the new owner feels as if Audrey’s quality of life would improve with surgery they have that option. Her foster family has seen a great improvement in her range of motion and ability to run, walk and play. They report that she loves to play like any other dog. We know that Audrey is great with older children and adults. We are not sure how she is with younger children as she has only been exposed to children over the age of 7. So at this time we believe she should be placed in a home that either has older children or no children at all. Her foster family has two children ages 9 and 12 years old, 2 other dogs (a 7 year old Lab and a 10 month old Lab mix), a guinea pig and 2 cats. She gets along very well with the dogs and does not pay much attention to the cats or the guinea pig! Audrey is crate trained and has spent a large amount of time in the crate on “bed rest”. Audrey is slightly food aggressive (we believe this is due to her traumatic past). She was extremely thin when she arrived. This is being worked on with success. She will take a treat very gently out of her foster owner’s hands. The slight food aggression is shown when she thinks you are going to take her full dish of food away, because of this she needs to be on a feeding schedule rather than a “free” feed schedule. She has never gone after anyone or attempted to bite anyone. She is house broken and loves to be outside...especially if it is sunny out! She is an extremely lovable dog who loves to give kisses. Everyone who has met her has fallen in love with her and her foster family will be sad to see her go. She is up to date on her vaccinations, dewormed, and spayed. All of her Vet records from her X-rays as well as her treatment will be supplied to her new adopter. If you are interested in meeting her please call or text us at 716-208-7747. Tonto is a male Black Mouth Cur mix 2 year old dog who came to us from a kill shelter in TN. He is medium in size and weighs around 50 pounds. This very beautiful and unique looking doggie will gets a lot of attention for his appearance. His personality is just as amazing! Tonto is very friendly and smart. He is a fast learner that catches on to things very quickly. He is both energetic and playful. He gets along GREAT with all dogs he meets both big and small. He can even handle little yipping dogs. He is fine with cats as long as they are fine with him. He is good with children but due to his size and energy level, we do not want him in a home with children under 12 years old. He LOVES water so if you have a pond, pool, or creek then he is there! He will jump right in the pool to cool off! He even enjoys the hose being sprayed at him. He will run, bark, and play with the water from it. He enjoys being active also so if you are a runner, hiker, or you are an athletic person then please consider Tonto because he will keep up with you and enjoys these kind of activities. He is both potty trained and crate trained. Tonto is up to he date on his shots, dewormed, flea treated, tested negative for heart worms, and neutered. If you would like to meet him please contact us at 716-208-7747. Our email address is pawsandclawsanimalshelter@yahoo.com. Hi, my name is Pierre. If you are looking for a best friend for your current feline, then look no further! I am a sweet, shy boy approximately 4 years old. I was found outside by a really nice woman who took me in, gave me food and veterinary care! I do not hiss, whine, bite, scratch or growl. I was adopted last year, but my family lost their home and I had to come back :-( I was so loving and affectionate there but am scared again in my new environment. I am very quite and need some one-on-one attention so I can trust that you're are my friend. I would do best in a quiet home without any young children. I do however LOVE other cats, nice dogs and kittens! Please give me the chance to know what a forever, loving home is! I am neutered, up to date on all shots, negative for FIV/FeLV, and have a clean bill of health! If interested please call/text 716-308-0101 or email bpckitties@hotmail.com.
