Maria is a female Boxer mix 2 year old dog who came to us from a kill shelter in SC. She has her original tail and it is not docked. She is very friendly and loves to give you lots of kisses. She is GREAT with children although due to her size we do not recommend her with any under the age of 5. She will cuddle with kids, sleep with them, and play with them. Maria is good with other dogs but right now she doesn't want them in her food dish. Who can blame her after being in an over crowded shelter? She does not get along with alpha dogs so if she is to be in a home with another dog it needs to be a submissive one. We are not sure how she is with cats because we haven't seen her around any. She happily greets everyone she meets with her tail wagging. She enjoys car rides and likes to go for runs or walks. She does tend to pull on the leash so a harness or prong collar would be good for her. She has a medium energy level and loves to play. She sometimes doesn't want to give up her toys, so she needs a little work with that also. Once she is in a home where she feels more secure, we think that the behavior would change. She is crate trained and potty trained. Maria is up to date on her shots, dewormed, given a Bordatella vaccination, tested negative for heart worms (was previously treated), given a K9 Influenza vaccination, and spayed. Hi, my name is Pierre. If you are looking for a best friend for your current feline, then look no further! I am a sweet, shy boy approximately 4 years old. I was found outside by a really nice woman who took me in, gave me food and veterinary care! I do not hiss, whine, bite, scratch or growl. I was adopted last year, but my family lost their home and I had to come back :-( I was so loving and affectionate there but am scared again in my new environment. I am very quite and need some one-on-one attention so I can trust that you're are my friend. I would do best in a quiet home without any young children. I do however LOVE other cats, nice dogs and kittens! Please give me the chance to know what a forever, loving home is! I am neutered, up to date on all shots, negative for FIV/FeLV, and have a clean bill of health! If interested please call/text 716-308-0101 or email bpckitties@hotmail.com. Chalulu is an adorable 4 month old female English Springer Spaniel mix puppy who weighs around 20 pounds. She was given away free at the side of the road and told that individual who took her that she was hit by a car. This would explain why she was limping on her front leg. We took her to the Vet and they told us that this was an old injury and that she had two broken bones. They said that she is not in pain and that we should wait a month to see if it heals on it's own prior to making a decision on whether surgery is needed or not. Right now she does limp but gets around good. We are allowing her to go to a foster to adopt home. This is where the adopter puts down a deposit and takes her home. The puppy is technically the adopters puppy, but we will still be responsible to pay for her surgery in a month's time if it is needed. After we get the 2nd opinion from the Vet then the adoption can be finalized. Otherwise she can be adopted out right but then the adopter is responsible for any further medical treatment. Chalulu is an amazingly sweet and loving puppy. She is friendly, playful, and LOVES children. She perks up when she sees kids playing. She is EXCELLENT with all dogs that she meets and is good with cats also. This little girl has the softest fur and is aboslutely stunning! Chalulu is crate trained and potty trained. She is a quiet girl who enjoys being held, cuddled, and loved. Sheh is up to date on her shots, dewormed, and will come with a spay certificate.
