Chalulu is an adorable 4 month old female English Springer Spaniel mix puppy who weighs around 20 pounds. She was given away free at the side of the road and told that individual who took her that she was hit by a car. This would explain why she was limping on her front leg. We took her to the Vet and they told us that this was an old injury and that she had two broken bones. They said that she is not in pain and that we should wait a month to see if it heals on it's own prior to making a decision on whether surgery is needed or not. Right now she does limp but gets around good. We are allowing her to go to a foster to adopt home. This is where the adopter puts down a deposit and takes her home. The puppy is technically the adopters puppy, but we will still be responsible to pay for her surgery in a month's time if it is needed. After we get the 2nd opinion from the Vet then the adoption can be finalized. Otherwise she can be adopted out right but then the adopter is responsible for any further medical treatment. Chalulu is an amazingly sweet and loving puppy. She is friendly, playful, and LOVES children. She perks up when she sees kids playing. She is EXCELLENT with all dogs that she meets and is good with cats also. This little girl has the softest fur and is aboslutely stunning! Chalulu is crate trained and potty trained. She is a quiet girl who enjoys being held, cuddled, and loved. Sheh is up to date on her shots, dewormed, and will come with a spay certificate. We have partnered with Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic. When you adopt this dog you will receive your first office visit free! Also, for the first two weeks following adoption your vet costs are covered, in full if illness should occur.
Meet Tugger. He is a sweet, cuddly affectionate cat about 3 years old. He just wants to be loved, held and played with. Tugger is just waiting for someone to shower him with love and attention. He would do best in a home with female cats or a calm male. He is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed and neutered. He MUST be kept on a monthly flea preventative, if you have a dog, as he is highly prone to flea dermatitis if exposed to fleas. Ralphie is a 2 year old male who was found as a stray. The people who found him took him in, took him to the vet where he was given a full physical, shots, tested for FIV/FeLk (both negative), treated for worms and neutered. He is very happy and healthy weighing in at 12 pounds. He is litter box trained and has had no litter box issues. While trying to incorporate Ralphie into their household with cats/dog, he showed immediate aggression toward the other animals. Since no one knows his past, we are unsure why he has the aggression. He is terribly sweet with people, loves to play, is very gentle and loving. Ralphie often falls asleep on their lap. He is comfortable being picked up and held. A little shy of visitors, but he warms up with a little time. He can take medicine (when needed) easily and you can trim his nails with no problem and he loves to be brushed. Unless someone is willing to get to the bottom of his animal aggression, he will need to be be an "only child." He would be perfect for someone who can only have one animal.
