Aristotle
Aristotle is a very sweet Shepherd mix puppy who came to us with a bent paw. We thought that maybe his paw got stuck in a crate on his way to our rescue group.
Aristotle was taken to 5 Corners Animal Hospital in Orchard Park where he received 2 different X-Ray views of his paw.

Luckily, the vet didn't see any broken bones and told us that it was due to lack of proper nutrition as a puppy. Basically we were told to feed him adult food so that he could slow down his growing process.
 Poor Aristotle had to take breaks when playing and walking. He was also uncomfortable and would constantly fall over. The total of his vet fees where $233.00 so if you could please help out with his vetting then we can continue to help others in need.  |

Shila is a cute and petite female Pit Bull mix who is around 1 years old. She came from a kill shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized if we did not offer to take her. Her ears have been cropped, which gives her some character. She is very sweet, playful, and energetic. Shila walks good on a leash and only slightly pulls. With a little bit of training she will get the hang of it. She is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs. We have not had her around cats therefore we do not know how she will respond to them. She is crate trained and for the most part potty trained. Shila is good with children and is ready for her furrever home! She is up to date on her shots, dewormed, given a Bordatella vaccination, tested NEGATIVE for heart worms, and spayed. Meet Sadie Mae. She is about 2 years old. She is SUPER affectionate, playful and very healthy. Sadie Mae was a Momma found pregnant outside. She is the sweetest, most affectionate cat, who seems to do very well with other cats. She LOVES to be held and snuggled. She is dewormed, up to date on vaccines and FIV/FeLV negative, and spayed. Shasta is a female Rotti mix 2-3 year old dog who came to us from a kill shelter. She was picked up pregnant and as a stray. All of her puppies got adopted before she got here, but nobody wanted her. She is very pretty and has a docked tail. She is very loving and sweet. She can be cautious when new people come in and out of her house so we do ask that she goes to a quiet home. Shasta gets nervous with young children therefore we do not recommend her with children under the age of 12. She is good with other dogs but it might take her a day or two before she is comfortable with that dog. She has a medium to low energy level, is shy, and is very gentle. She is okay with cats but is curious and playful with them, so she would need to be in a home where the cats are used to dogs. She is smaller for a Rotti and only weighs around 40 to 45 pounds. Shasta is potty trained and crate trained. Shasta is also very good on a leash. She is up to date on her shots, dewormed, tested NEGATIVE for Heart Worms, and spayed.
