Shila is a cute and petite female Pit Bull mix who is around 1 years old. She came from a kill shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized if we did not offer to take her. Her ears have been cropped, which gives her some character. She is very sweet, playful, and energetic. Shila walks good on a leash and only slightly pulls. With a little bit of training she will get the hang of it. She is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs. We have not had her around cats therefore we do not know how she will respond to them. She is crate trained and for the most part potty trained. Shila is good with children and is ready for her furrever home! She is up to date on her shots, dewormed, given a Bordatella vaccination, tested NEGATIVE for heart worms, and spayed. If you are interested in meeting her please call or text us at 716-208-7747. Our email address is pawsandclawsanimalshelter@yahoo.com. In order to speed up the adoption process please fill out our online application.

Ralphie is a 2 year old male who was found as a stray. The people who found him took him in, took him to the vet where he was given a full physical, shots, tested for FIV/FeLk (both negative), treated for worms and neutered. He is very happy and healthy weighing in at 12 pounds. He is litter box trained and has had no litter box issues. While trying to incorporate Ralphie into their household with cats/dog, he showed immediate aggression toward the other animals. Since no one knows his past, we are unsure why he has the aggression. He is terribly sweet with people, loves to play, is very gentle and loving. Ralphie often falls asleep on their lap. He is comfortable being picked up and held. A little shy of visitors, but he warms up with a little time. He can take medicine (when needed) easily and you can trim his nails with no problem and he loves to be brushed. Unless someone is willing to get to the bottom of his animal aggression, he will need to be be an "only child." He would be perfect for someone who can only have one animal. If interested in Ralphie please call/text 716-308-0101 or email bpckitties@hotmail.com. To speed up the process fill out an adoption application.
When you adopt this animal, you will get a certificate to use for one free office visit, at participating vets, within 10 days of adoption.
Phoebe is a female Rat Terrier mix 7 year old 14 pound dog. She is a little shy but very affectionate and sweet. This little girl came to us from a kill shelter in TN and is now looking for her forever home. She is a quiet and well behaved dog. She is good with other dogs but is a little cautious when first meeting them. Phoebe is good with children but would be better suited in a home without young ones running around making her nervous. Due to her disposition we think that she would be fine around cats although we haven't seen her around any. She is both crate trained and potty trained. She is up to date on her shots, tested negative for heart worms, given a bordatella vaccination, and spayed. If you are interested in meeting her please call or text us at 716-208-7747. Our email address is pawsandclawsanimalshelter@yahoo.com. In order to speed up the adoption process please fill out our online application.

Hi, my name is Pierre. If you are looking for a best friend for your current feline, then look no further! I am a sweet, shy boy approximately 4 years old. I was found outside by a really nice woman who took me in, gave me food and veterinary care! I do not hiss, whine, bite, scratch or growl. I was adopted last year, but my family lost their home and I had to come back :-( I was so loving and affectionate there but am scared again in my new environment. I am very quite and need some one-on-one attention so I can trust that you're are my friend. I would do best in a quiet home without any young children. I do however LOVE other cats, nice dogs and kittens! Please give me the chance to know what a forever, loving home is! I am neutered, up to date on all shots, negative for FIV/FeLV, and have a clean bill of health! If interested please call/text 716-308-0101 or email bpckitties@hotmail.com.
