Kodak is a full breed Golden Retriever male dog who just turned a year old. He is an owner surrender because he was having issues with the children in the household. Kodak is a beautiful, sweet, and loving boy but he cannot be in a home with young children. He does not have patience with them and has even nipped at times. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on his shots. He is a stunning young boy who is PERFECT on a leash when he goes for a walk. He loves running outside and standing in the rain! We have not witnessed this behavior yet, but we are told from his previous owners that he is protective over his food, treats, and toys. Hope is a 1 1/2 year old female Pit Bull mix. We think that she might be mixed with a little bit of Greyhound, but we are not sure. This poor girl came to us completely emaciated, weighing only 20lbs, but all ready to love! She was taken to a foster home where she was taken on daily walks and LOVED it! She would be PERFECT for an active person or family.
One day, her collar must not have been correctly adjusted, because it slipped off and she ran into the street and was hit by a car! She had to have her leg stapled shut and was put on pain meds. To make things worse, her foster no longer wanted her after that! This poor girl was thrown around, hit by a car and thrown around some more...Hope deserves so much better than she has received.
Hope is GREAT with kids although we do not recommend her with ones under 7 due to her size (approx 60lbs) and energy level! We do not trust her with cats, as she shows chasing & hunting instincts with them, so she will have to go to a home without them. She is great with dogs that are submissive because she is the Alpha female. She is very playful and affectionate! She will need some work on her manners because she does tend to jump at times, however with proper exercise this may not be the case. Please consider giving this love bug a home. She approached a woman and her father with the most welcome and loving disposition (which she still has to this day). They brought her in, fed her, and gave her water. Unfortunately, during the time the foster had Naomi, she had been going through some health problems and couldn't keep her. Please meet Tokara a 8-9 month old German Shepherd/Sharpei mix puppy. She previously had Demodex mange but is now looking beautiful. Her foster mom did a great job at giving her the meds, shampoo treatment, and TLC to help her recover. At one point, she was adopted and her new owner failed to continue her treatment. This resulted in some decent amount of hair loss along with her being very uncomfortable. Now that it is gone, she shouldn't get it again unless she is in a stressful situation. Due to her mange, she has not been able to be spayed yet but will come with a spay certificate. She recently went into heat and will not do so in another 6 month's. Tokara is a very sweet, loving, affectionate, and playful puppy. She gets along GREAT with dogs but isn't very fond of kitty's. She is also AMAZING with children of all ages! Tokara is potty trained.

He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and was tested NEGATIVE for heart worms. He is great with kids and with kitty's. He likes other dogs but is a little grumpy with wanting his space. He would do okay with a another laid back dog.
This is Teddie, a 7 week old Basset Hound mix puppy. He is the runt of the litter and has some neurological damage. The vet said that it may or may not get better as he gets older. Teddie walks with his head tilted and can raise his neck straight up, but only for a few seconds. He is a special needs puppy so we are not going to let him leave his mom for another couple of weeks. Of course we will be selective as to what home that he goes to. We do not recommend him to be around young children. Joey is what we believe to be a Labradoodle which is a cross between a Lab and a Poodle. He is a little poof ball! Joey is about 8-9 weeks old along with his sister Miranda. Tequila is a female Chihuahua who is around 6 years old. She currently weighs 8 pounds and is a little peanut! She is soo cute and very sweet. She would need a quieter home with older calm children. Once she opens up to you, look out because she will want to be on your lap, follow you around, and give you lots of kisses. It doesn't take her long until she feels comfortable with someone. She is up to date on her shots, dewormed, and tested NEGATIVE for Heart Worms. She is good around older calm dogs and does not like hyper dogs. Tequila will growl and possibly nip at them. We think that she would do fine with kitty's. She is not spayed nor do we recommend it at her age. There are too many risks involved when spaying or neutering an animal over the age of 5. TBone is a very sweet and playful 3 month old male Black Lab mix puppy. He recently had the Parvo virus, but is now healthy! He will not be able to be around puppies under a year old for up to 3-4 months while he is still shedding the virus. He will however be able to be around dogs over a year old that have been fully vaccinated. TBone is up to date on his shots, dewormed, and will come with a neuter certificate. He loves to just run and play! He is EXCELLENT with children, kitty's, and other dogs. He already plays with balls and is learning how to bring them back. He is such a smart boy!
