He is great with kids and other dogs but is a little bit timid. He has some food aggression towards other dogs but we are working on that. Given his previous history, we can understand why he is like this. He is up to date on all of his shots and will come with a neuter certificate to be redeemed when he is 4-6 month's old.

Joy is a female purebred toy poodle with a bad haircut who was born in sometime between 2004 - 2005 which makes her 4 or 5 years old. She was saved from a area puppy mill where she spent the first 4 or 5 years of her life in a small cage in loneliness, misery and neglect just to breed puppies for irreputable puppy merchants. Joy weighs only about 8 pounds and will be available for adoption just after Christmas. If you are interested in Joy, you can apply now if you think you would like to give this little Apricot Toy Poodle a soft, warm bed, some good treats and lots of love which she will happily return to you in triplicate! Joy is the absolute sweetest girl and her name fits her perfectly. She has been groomed badly by someone and when we got her, she was still horribly matted and filthy. It is going to take a while for it to grow in, but she will be a beautiful little girl very soon with pretty light apricot hair. Her personality is easy going, but she does frighten easily. Joy may take a while to warm up to you, but once she does she is just the most loveable little gal and will follow you everywhere.
Joy tends to ignore other dogs so she could easily be an only pet. She enjoys just being with you or in her doggie bed. She would do well with children over 9 as she is so tiny and needs understanding hands and feet. She is working on her housetraining and uses a newspapers and puppy pads inside, but will also wait until she is taken outside. She walks quite well on a leash and because she is so devoted, she would do OK without a fenced yard as long as she leashed or tethered with your supervision. She definitely wants to be where you are.

Patches is a 10 week old pup who was brought to our rescue group from Georgia. He was one of the puppies that was found in a box floating on a river. ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS....SOMEONE TO LOVE ME! Hi! My name is Roscoe. I'm a male 5 month old kitty. I was found by some very special people, who noticed I was severely injured and near death-literally! I was rushed to the Orchard Park Emergency Care Hospital. I was so scared, but happy that I was being petted and softly spoken to. My doctor said that my left eye was so badly injured, either from human abuse or another animal, that it had to be removed...but I'm okay with it because I am out of pain and still see great with my right eye! Who needs two eyes anyways!?! lol I tested NEGATIVE for FIV/Leuk and am up to date on all of my shots and neutered (another owie..haha) as well. I'm a little bit shy when first meeting new people, but I like to think I'm just a bit reserved until I get to know you! She previously had heart worms and was treated for it. It is REQUIRED that she stay on monthly heart worm med's. She is great with other dogs but sometimes gets annoyed with them. She would probably do best in a quieter home although she is EXCELLENT with children. She even does good with kitty's!! Taylor is up to date on all of her shots and is crate trained.
